What players ask first
Is it a gacha game?
Yes. You recruit SSR characters at a 0.6% base rate. Weapons are reported to stay out of the gacha.
DetailsWhat is the pity?
Pull 90 guarantees an SSR, and each limited banner guarantees its pickup within 120 pulls, once.
DetailsShould I pull for Midori?
The banner is listed until November 27. You need 120 pulls to be certain, or about 80 for even odds.
DetailsIs it on PC?
No official PC or console version has been announced. It's on iOS and Android, with controller support.
DetailsWhy am I stuck at my rank?
Story quests stop at set Adventurer Ranks, and EXP has a daily limit. The next gates are AR 17, 22, 27, 30 and 32.

What is Monster Hunter Outlanders?
Monster Hunter Outlanders is a free-to-start survival hunting action game for iOS and Android, developed by TiMi Studio Group under licence from Capcom. It launched on October 29, 2026. Level Infinite sells it on the US App Store, and Garena runs servers for regions including Korea, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Unlike the main series, you recruit SSR Adventurers through a gacha, which is why so many player questions are about pulls. Our FAQ covers the basics.
How the gacha adds up
A pull has a 0.6% chance of an SSR until pull 74, when the rate starts climbing fast. That makes the odds very uneven. On a fresh limited banner, 50 pulls gives you about a 15% chance of the pickup, while 80 pulls gives you about 51%. The worst place to stop is just before that climb, which is why we built the calculator around your real count.
Why progress stops
The story pauses at set Adventurer Ranks, and the main sources of EXP run out for the day until the 5 AM server reset. So if you've done your requests and spent your Energy, you've probably reached the limit, and nothing is wrong. Some gates also ask for an Ecological Rank or Adventurer Power. Gacha rules come from the official probability notice dated October 29, 2026, and our model reproduces its published rates to within 0.002 points. Where only a third-party guide has a number, we name that guide. Where guides disagree, we show both. We don't publish a tier list, because nobody has reliable damage data yet.
What to do first
Choose your server before anything else, since data can't transfer between Garena's regions. Then use your first Standard Contracts on the Beginner banner, where pull 50 guarantees an SSR adventurer. The beginner guide walks through the rest.
